Prayagraj: When the Ministry of Health plans to increase the impulse of immunization against Covid-19, this city is likely to enlarge the 10 signs of Lakh vaccination this week.
Until now, more than 9.57 doses of lakh have been given to recipients who meet the requirements in this district, with more than 10,000 jabs managed in all age groups every day.
Amazingly, around 4.48 percent of the recipients targeted so far took the covid vaccine dose in Sangam City.
With 3,985 more people take second jab, the number of people who are now fully immunized against Covid reaches 1,79,089 on Sunday.
With 19.51 percent of the targeted recipients taking the first dose, the number has surged to 7.78,089.
Health officials have set the target administration of the Covid vaccine to around 39.87 people, including 27 LAKH recipients aged between 18 and 44 and 12.87 lakh above 45 years.
In accordance with the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health, 9.57,660 Covid shots have been given to beneficiaries of all age groups in the district until July 11.
While 7,78,089 people have taken the first dose, 1.79, 571 the recipient has received a second shot.
A total of 10,368 vaccine shots were given to people from all age groups in the last 24 hours, which included 6,383 first dose recipients and 3,985 from the second shot.
District Immunization Officers (DIO) and Chief Medical Additional Officers Dr.
Therar Lal told TII, “We made sincere efforts to increase the number of recipients in urban areas, semi-urban and rural areas.
We will take vaccinations at 44 sites from Monday including 21 sites in the area Rustic and 23 sites in urban areas.
“He said vaccination exercises would be carried out in all 20 public health centers and one urban CHC in this district.
A senior health official said, “The number of vaccination sites depends on the availability of vaccine doses and if we have adequate vaccine stocks, the number of sites increases.”
