PATIALA: Minister of Punjab Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Friday announced many development projects to ensure the growth of Holistic Sri Chamkaur Sahib and Morinda.
Overcoming the public meeting on the occasion of Dussehra, the minister’s head greeted people and announced that the public health center in Chamkaur Sahib would be increased to the 100 beds and the trauma center would soon appear in Morinda.
He also announced to improve the farm pharmacy in rural areas in all states to improve the quality of livestock so as to increase the income of dairy cattle farmers.
Channi also announced a sewerage project for Morinda which will be executed at the cost of Rs 42 Crores in addition to RS 28-crore canal-based drinking water supply schemes.
He also said the construction of the RS 114-Crore Bridge above Satluj in the region had begun to link Bela -Paniaia Road to the National Highway 344-A to improve economic development in the area.
Then, the minister’s chairman also featured ‘Ravan Dahan’ to mark the Dussehra celebration.
