Sydney: The US is likely to host the T20 World Cup in 2024, which can function as a launch bearing in the ICC effort to inclusion of cricket at the Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
ICC is expected to offer a joint offer by USA Cricket and Cricket West Indies to host 2024 T20 exhibition.
According to a report in Sydney Morning Herald, a “decision about the venue for the ICC event in the next cycle is close, and that the outer global focus means they are more distributed than in the past.” If everything goes according to plan, it will be the first global tournament that is not organized by India, England or Australia since the 2014 T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.
