Dharwad: Head of Kudalasangama Pancayasali Panetha Jaya Mrutyunjaya Swami said Picamasalis who had been nervous to inclose the community in the reservation category would continue their madness until the request was fulfilled.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, he said the Mega Picamasalist Convention will be held at Kudalasangama on January 14 to mark the first warning in Hatatra taken by members of the community from Kudalasangama to Bengaluru to find reservations.
He said the chairman of the Bukavaraj Bommai Minister will present the National Basava Pujya Award on that occasion.
“It won’t be surprising if the minister’s chairman announces the government’s decision to approve a reservation to Picamasalis at the Convention,” he said.
He said Picamasalis was convinced that CM would announce a reservation for the community during the budget session if not at the meeting.
However, to maintain pressure, community members will maintain survival agitation, he said.
