Surrey: Surrey and England Fast Bowler Liam Plunkett will leave Surrey CCC at the end of the season after three years with the club.
Surrey announced on Tuesday that after leaving the club at the end of the season, Plunkett would lead to the United States, where he would sign with the Major League crickets, the new T20 League was ambitious which aims to change the American cricket landscape.
Plunkett will also support Philadelphils, a team in the East Division of Minor League Cricket, which was recently launched to provide a level under the main league settings – training at the new Academy.
The 36-year-old player joined Surrey in 2019 – a year where he played a key role in an extraordinary English World Cup campaign, the numbers returned 3/42 in the final which included goalkeeper Captain New Zealand KaneImson.
Talking to the Surrey CCC website, Liam said: “I want to thank everyone in Surrey for the support and support I have received for the past three years.
This is an extraordinary club, and it is an honor to represent them.
” “Moving to the next phase in my career, I am happy to have the opportunity to join the Major League crickets and focus my attention on helping to grow sports in the United States.
