Hubballi: Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation has received several complaints from residents over pig wrecks thrown out by criminals in the residential area.
According to the complainant, the carcass of the pig was discarded on open sites and in private property in the border of Twin City.
After receiving several similar complaints, HDMC has now asked residents to remind the control room if and when the carcass is seen so the staff can come and take it to be thrown away.
The HDMC authority suspects competition among pig owners is the reason behind the threat.
