Prayagraj: The increase in flood water levels in River Ganga has flooded a large area, located between the two sides of the Phaphamau Bridge which is the site for mass burial.
Previously, a strong strong current eroded the banks on the side of the city of Phaphamau Ghat because, released by many bodies.
This site, which recently monoplates the center of national attention, is located in a vast sandy area between the Phaphamau road bridge and the old curzon bridge.
The flood situation could be mastered by the fact that the level of the Ganges River in Phaphamau was 76.67 meters on June 20 and 76.70 meters on June 21.

The increase in water volume of around two meters has flooded hundreds of graves, which had previously faced the threat of strong stream ganga.
Because of the flood, one can see a number of graves covered with sheets.
Since June 4, a large number of the body, buried in this area, was exposed by strong river bank erosion.
The situation was very gloomy that Zonal Corporation Officer Prasagraj Municipal (PMC), Neeraj Singh cremated more than 40 bodies on certain days.
Until Saturday, PMC officials had performed the last ritual of 155 bodies.
