Prasagraj: A total of 15,028 recipients of all age groups were given the Covid-19 vaccine in Sangam City on Monday by the Ministry of Health.
Officials said that the Prayagraj District was closer to reaching 37 percent of recipients targeted as a whole in this district.
District immunization officers and additional Chief Medical Officer (ACMO) Dr.
Teuth Lal told toi that the department aimed at the maximum number of recipients in rural areas and urban areas and vaccinations were being carried out in more than 45 sites.
On Monday, 15,028 recipients in the Prayagraj district have taken Jab which covers 10,291 with their first dose and 4.737 get the second dose managed.
With this, as many as 15.83,363 Jab has been given to the recipient of all groups of age until August 23 including 12.59,671 first dose and 3.23,692 of the second dose.
In addition, the district health department officials have set the target of providing Covid vaccines to around 42.59 Lakh people, including 28 Lakh recipients aged between 18-44 age groups and 12.87 lakh over 45 years.
