Mysuru: Raids on the relatives of politicians by the Income Tax Department officials will not have bearings on the results of Sindgi and Hangal Byelection, said Minister MySuru In-Charge Minister St Somashekar is here on Sunday.
Rejecting allegations of politically motivated raids, Somashekar said that income tax officials act on the information they have.
“When the agency attacks the houses and offices of opposition leaders, this operation is often alleged to be politically motivated.
