Karachi: The former Pakistani captain Ramiz Raja will officially take over as the new chairman of the Pakistani cricket board on Monday.
Pakistani cricket boards announced on Saturday that the Special Meeting of the Board of Governors (BOG) was held on Monday in which the commissioner of the Selection of PCB Mr.
Justice (REPD) Sheikh Azmat Saeed, would elect and lead a special meeting.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is also a PCB patron-in-chief, has nominated Ramiz and a senior Bureaucrat Asad Ali Khan as a new member of the swamp.
It is the previous conclusion that Ramiz will be chosen as chairman to replace Ehsan Mani, who completed his three-year term last month.
PCB said that the new leader will also hold a media conference after a meeting at the National High Performance Center.
Although Ramiz has not officially taken over as chairman but its influence has been seen in the selection of World Cup troops and in other matters such as a sudden resignation of the head coach of Misbah-ul-Haq and Bowling.
Ramiz is expected to announce several policy decisions regarding cricket organizations in Pakistan, the system of selection committees and other important problems.
