A group of 22 artists from Ram-Shyam Adarsh Leela Mandal from Vrindavan, is to perform Ram Leela and Krishna Leela each in the day and night each at the Charghi Dadri camp, in Sector 5 Magh Mela with the Covid-19 protocol compliance strict.
President Akhil Bharatiya Dandi Sanyasi Parishad, Peethadheeshwar Swami Brahmashram Maharaj told TII, “After a 12-month gap, a group of 22 artists from Vrindavan had arrived to do Ramlela and Krishna Leela in the midst of the tight compliance of the Covid-19 protocol.” “We did not invite artists last year because of Corona’s pandemic because Mela’s administration had banned a pandal for the performance of Ramlela or Krishna Leela and to hold religious discourse.
However, this year has brought some relief and limited groups of artists invited to hold Ramlela and Krishna Leela is in a different pandal.
“The artists are sitting and unemployed for the past and a half years and some even choose temporary work to get livelihoods.
