Prayagraj: Air Commodore K Srinivasa Rao took over when Air Officer ruled depot 24 equipment, Manauri, on Thursday from Air Commodore Sanyog Mehta.
Commodore Air K Srinivasa Rao was assigned to the logistics branch in the Indian Air Force on December 19, 1987.
Air officer was an alumnus of the National Defense Academy.
He is a doctorate in business management.
He has 1,500 hours of flying experience as a navigator on an-32 plane.
Some of the important appointments include the Chief Logistics Officer at the United Nations Mission in Sudan, Director of Personnel Officer in Air HQ, Commander Embarkation HQ and command logistics management officers on operational orders.
In his speech to the Depot personnel, Air Officer Commander urged them all to keep a good job towards operational preparedness at all times.
He stressed that collective efforts were included by all personnel would ensure that we “touched the sky with glory” which is the Moto IAF.
He also highlighted that the welfare of personnel and their families from Manai Air Force Station was the focus area.
He advised personnel for support and dedication that did not turn out to ensure 100% service from all IAF assets.
