Haveri: Cooking gas cylinders explode in a small roadside restaurant in Hampi on Thursday night.
The restaurants were broken due to the explosion, but no one was present at the explosion.
The restaurant is located behind the vittal vittal monument, and near the banks of the Tungabhadra river.
The incident occurred at 1 morning.
People from the surrounding area arrived at the place, after hearing the explosion.
Authorities fear that explosion intensity may have affected the nearest monument.
Police personnel, and officials from the Indian Archaeological Survey, visited the place, immediately after the incident.
According to sources, LPG cylinders are used by cooking owners in the restaurant.
Authorities suspect that the owner forgets to turn off the cylinder after closing for the day and go home, which might cause an explosion.
