Gold Coast: Indian Women’s T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur said that Richa Ghosh’s performance and Pooja Vastrakar were a big positive for India from the multi-format series they lost 5-11 to Australia which was dominant.
India lost each Wodi and WT20i series 1-2 and 0-2 while one T20 match was removed.
“The results are not our favorable, but we have good players like Pooja Vastrakar and Richa Ghosh.
So we can take a lot of positive things and we are on the right track.
Thanks to our support staff, they really stand up for us,” Captain said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
HarmanPreet, along with seven others, will compete in the Women’s Bash league and Indian Skipper call it a good opportunity for all players.
“I’m very excited (for WBBL).
This is a great opportunity for us to grow as a team.
If we can play more matches before the international series, it will help us.” The southern stars captain Lanning said, “We know India will be back hard.
It has become a great series, both parties already have momentum.
India really tested us and gave us a big challenge.” Match and series players, Tahlia McGrath said, “It’s not real to be part of, loving wearing a Aussie shirt again.
I haven’t played T20 at this level before, but Batting is hitting the ball, hitting the ball.”
