New Delhi: Legendary Cricketer Sunil Gavascar has said that the opening of Rohit Sharma is the best man to replace Virat Kohli as India T20i Captain.
He further added that India did not need to think long-term when it comes to appointing the new T20i captain, saying that the next T20 World Cup will be played in Australia next year.
Kohli’s ownership as captain of T20i India ended on Monday because the blue people suffered the beginning of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE.
Ahead of the tournament, the 33-year-old stylish batsman has announced that he will step down as the captain of the T20I team.
