Prayagraj: Jerked by a low vaccination voter in a rural bag, the district health department has now divided the boost into two shifts – starting at 9am to 13:00 to 5:30.
These steps, according to officials, have been taken under the micro plan to reach the maximum recipient who qualifies.
The team was asked to visit the village and block allocated at 9am and compiled data on Google Sheet.
In addition, senior health officials – from the Senior Medical Officer (SMO) to additional Chief Medical Officers (ACMOS) – have been directed to review trips in rural areas.
Until now, a total of 37,36,188 people, including 19.87,224 male, 17,47,300 women and 1,664 transgender, had been granted by JAB in the Prayagraj district.
Senior Medical Officer (SMO) D.
Anupam Dwivedi told Tii, “We reach the recipients who qualify, especially in remote village areas, which are still left for vaccination.” He said: “The vaccination team now visits Mazara and remote villages to cover the recipient.
Special camps are held in elementary school to cover the recipients of all age groups.” Within 10 November only, 1,42,539 people, including 68,778 men , 48 transgender and 73,313 women, Covid shots have been given.
Officials made a sincere effort to reach the maximum rural population and for basic health workers – Asha and Anms – were conducting a door survey to the door.
District immunization officers and additional medical officers, Dr.
Teuth Lal told Tii, “from 37.36,188 doses given so far, 27,96,356 receivers have received the first dose while 9,39,832 have obtained both.” He added, “The department has set a target to cover 45.16,437 recipients in the district and around 83 percent of the recipients have been given the first or second dose until now.”
