Moscow: Russian authorities on Friday reported a number of Coronavirus’ death records for the third day in a row.
The Russian Coronavirus Task Force reported 1,254 virus deaths, up 1,251 on Thursday and 1,247 on Wednesday.
The task force also reported 37,156 new cases confirmed.
Daily new infections in recent weeks seem to have taken a downward trend but still higher than the previous virus surge.
The latest surge in infection and death comes amid low levels of vaccination and a loose public attitude to take precautions.
Less than 40 percent of Russia nearly 146 million people have been fully vaccinated, even though the country agreed several months of Covid-19 vaccine developed domestically before most of the world.
In total, the Coronavirus task unit has reported more than 9.2 million confirmed infections and more than 261,000 Covid-19 deaths, so far are the highest deaths in Europe.
Some experts believe that the real number is even higher.
Report by Russian statistical services, Rosstat, that the death related to Coronavirus is casually revealed much higher mortality.
They said 462,000 people with Covid-19 died between April 2020 and September this year.
Russian officials said the task unit only included Covid-19 deaths were the main causes, and using data from medical facilities.
Rosstat uses wider criteria for calculating deaths related to viruses and takes the number of civil registry offices where registering death is resolved.
