New Delhi: SRT Private Limited Sports Management on Saturday clarified that Batting Great Sachin Tendulkar was not part of the Legends League Cricket (LLC).
LLC is meant by a professional cricket league for retired players, and recently announced the Indian squad for the league.
The promotional video that featured Amitabh Bachchan’s actor showed that Tendulkar would also be part of the league, which was rejected by official spokesman SRT Sports.
“News about participation @ sachin_rt in the ‘Legends League Cricket’ is not true.
The committee had to refrain from misleading cricket and Mr.
Amitabh Bachchan,” said the official spokesman for SRT sports management.

Starting January 20, LLC will feature three packaged star teams that will lock horns with each other.
The Indian team will be represented by people like Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, and The Pathhan Brothers – Irfan and Joseph.
The team will be called India Maharajas who will see them competing with several other star players from other countries.
LLC previously announced the Asian team as ‘Asia Lion’ consisting of former Pakistani and Sri Lanka players including Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Sanath Jayasuriya, Muttiah Muralitharan, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Tilakaratne Dilshan, Upul Tharanga, Misbah- ul-Haq, Mohammed Heafez, Shoaib Malik, Mohammed Youthuf, Umar Gul and Asghar Afghanistan.
