Prayagraj: The city of Sangam has set the highest vaccination record in one day because 91,822 Jab is managed to the recipient of all age groups in the city of Sangam on Friday with a special vaccination campaign.
This campaign was held at 343 sites on Friday and Sangam City recorded the highest bridge recipient throughout the state.
Sangam City was attended by Lucknow (86,135), Sitapur (80.042), and Aligarh (77,085) in terms of vaccines given to the recipient on Saturday.
Of the 91,822 Jab, 80,144 receivers of all age groups were given the first dose while 11,678 the recipient was given the second dose.
With this, a total of 23,34,242 beneficiaries of all age groups including 18,57,410 from the first dose and 4.76,832 from the second dose were given Jab in Sangam City.
The department claims to have provided Jab to more than 50 percent of target recipients in the district has so far set a target to manage Jabs to 46.10 Lakh recipients in the Prayagraj district.
Regency immunization officers and additional medical (ACMO) Dr.
Teerar Lal told TI that the department aimed at including the maximum number of recipients in one Mega campaign day and succeeded in efforts.
He further added that all health staff had been survived on their hard work and an incessant spirit that helped the department to reach the target.
The department has set a target to manage 1.24 lakh jab on Friday on the 71th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
However, health officials stated that they would intensify vaccination exercises on rural and urban sites to include maximum target recipients.
Officials also seek to cover the recipients living in remote village areas and Asha and Anmm teams have been assigned to bring the recipient to the nearest vaccination site for vaccination.
A senior health official said that the vaccination rate had gained momentum with each month passed and that the department would set a new record in September again.
The numbers also revealed that more than 3.03 lakh, 3.42 lakh and 5.18 people were given Jab in June, July and August.
