Bengaluru: The Premier League side of Indian Royal Challengers Bangalore on Tuesday enhancing his batting consultant Sanjay Bangar to head coach post for the next two years.
Bangar, which was appointed as a party batting consultant in February, will take control of Mike Hesson.
Hesson, who remained with the team in his existing role as Director of Cricket Operations, has been wearing an additional head coach’s hat for the IPL second leg in the UAE after Australia Simon Katich dropped for personal reasons.
