New Delhi: Former Indian Batsman Virender Sehwag has praised Batting Ravindra Jadeja which is rounded, but he thinks that all-rounders have not done full potential with bats.
Jadeja added 60 run to the sixth goal with Kl Rahul in the first inning of the first test at Trent Bridge.
Jadeja scored 56 Run which was very important for India taking the first innings leading 95 running in England.
“Now, Jadyja is the main bowler, left arm spinner for India, and his contribution with bats.
He hasn’t realized his potential but it’s been extraordinary,” said Sehwag to Sony Sports Network.
He added, “I still remember when Ravindra Jadeja came for the first time, I was the deputy captain at that time, our mindset was to get a Bowler who was a bat too and gave a break on our main bowler.
He came with that thought.” Sehwag also highlights the importance of Jadyja in the order of the current Indian test beat.
“Ravindra Jadyja is an important player of this team, especially when we talk about the Match Cricket test because first, he bowl 25-30 overs and second, he comes and bats at no.7 or no.8.
When the main batsmen came out, he scored Important goals.
He scored 56 runs in this test match; they walked very important.
Maybe, because of his 56th in India lead and go ahead of England.
“India played England in the second test in God starting Thursday.
