Dhaka: The T20 World Cup campaign was cut due to a hamstring injury, the Star All-Rounder Shakib Al Hasan is now set to the house of Miss Bangladesh three Twenty20 Series matches against Pakistan, starting in 198 November is ruled out from the T20 World Cup which is ongoing in UAE after suffering First grade hamstring injury during the match against West Indies.
However, Shakib may be available for two tests against Pakistan which will be held after the series twenty -20.
“Shakib will take at least three weeks to recover and return to the fields.
He might be able to play the test series,” said Head of the Cricket Council Board Bangladesh Debashish Chowdhury was quoted by Crisbuzz.
Chowdhury also hopes that Wicketkeeper’s dough Nurul Hasan, who has laid low due to stomach ache and missed the last three matches at the World Cup, will be available for the T20i series.
Three T20i between Bangladesh and Pakistan is scheduled at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on November 19, and 22.
This will be followed by two tests at the Chattogram Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury and Mirpur Stadium starting from November 26 and December 4.
Bangladesh has fallen from the showpiece after losing all five of their Super 12 matches.
