Two teams without lacking mutual sense of respect, hoping to somehow claw and scratch their way past each other in a large-scale billing contest on Sunday in Dubai.
“I will go for Shardul Thakur because Shardul can operate with a bat, and he is the choice of taking the goal.
It also increases the depth in batting arrangements.
So I will definitely go with Shardul before Bhuvi (bhuvneshwar),” said Laxman on Star Sports’ Show ‘plan’.
“He (bhuvneshwar) is an experienced bowler, but if you think about balance and a combination of play eleven, I might prefer Shardul over Bhuvi,” Laxman added.
Both New Zealand and India have so far played one match each, which finally lost to Pakistan.
