Colombo: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has formed a five-member panel to investigate bio-bubble violations carried out by the crush of Disal, Niroshan Dickwella and Danushka Gunathilaka during a recent England tour.
The trio sent home in the middle of the series after a violation was detected.
The three were filmed by fans who roamed the streets after the match was lost even though there was a limit on the movement of the player because of the threat of Covid-19.
The SLC Probe Panel consists of Nimal Dissanayaka Judge (retired Judge of the Supreme Court Sri Lanka), Panduka Keerthinanda (Tale Lawyer), ASELA REKAWA (Lawyer), Uchitha Wickremasinghe (Attorney-at-Law), and General Major (Retd) MrW de Zoysa.
Sri Layan Cricket will experience difficult times both inside and outside the field.
The players and SLC are locked in the old line for a national contract which according to the board is not needed at this time.
On Wednesday, 29 of the 30 players signed a tourist contract ahead of the Indian series starting July 13.
Senior Angelo Mathews player reportedly rejected the contract and was considering retirement.
Sri Lanka lost all their matches in England, except the match bombarded.
