South Africa has confirmed the Sri Lankan white ball tour from September 2-14 where the team will oppose three international days one day and three matches twenty20.
This is a shorter format game that will most interesting for both parties with the Twenty20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and Oman starting more than a month later.
“Playing against quality opposition in sub-continent is the best way for our team to prepare for this event and we thank Sri Lanka Cricket to accommodate us so far the year where the schedule is very condensed,” Acting Cricket South Africa CEO Pholetsi Moseki said in Media release on Friday.
