Colombo: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Saturday congratulated the senior team for excellent shows in the field during the T20i series played against India.
Sri Lanka has won the third T20i and decided to win three matches 2-1 on Thursday.
“The executive committee of Sri Lanka Cricket praised the efforts of the players, coaches and support staff to bring this very much needed victory, which he said would be good for the advanced national team,” SLC said in an official statement.
“Therefore, to acknowledge this victory, the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to give a USD 100,000 for the national team.” Haul four goalkeeper Wanindang Hasaranga and the beat of the invincible Dhananjaya de Silva helped Sri Lanka beat India with seven goal in the third and last T20i.
With this victory, Sri Lanka won the 2-1 draw.
Previously, Sri Lanka Spinner Wanindu Hasaranga showed extraordinary skills with the ball when the Indian batting line-up was limited to the mediocre 81/8 in twenty over given.
