New Delhi: India All-Rounder Stuart Binny, who has the best bowling figure record in ODI format by an Indian, on Monday announced his retirement from first grade and international cricket.
The 37-year-old Binny began his career with his state carnataka and represented India in six tests, 14 ODIS and three international twenty20.
“I want to tell you that I have decided to retire from first grade and international cricket,” Binny, whose father Roger also represents India, said in a statement.
“This gives me tremendous excitement and pride has represented my country at the highest international level.” While he did not get a lot of international roads under his belt, Binny returned the extraordinary numbers of bowling against Bangladesh when he took six goals with only four runs in Odi in June 2014 in Dhaka.
This remains the best Bowling performance in Odis to date.
