New Zealand will bring the Seifert team to replace Devon Conway in the T20 World Cup final against Australia after Wicketkeeper-Batsman broke his right hand with a frustrated blow after his dismissal against England.
Conway, which hit 38 balls 46 at the beginning of the semifinal on Wednesday, was sick and regretted after being ruled out from the two World Cup decider and the tour along with India.
“Even though it’s not the smartest thing he does, of course there is an element of bad luck in injury,” said the New Zealand coach Gary Stead.
“He of course sorry around him, it was the honest mistake he made.” He knew it had an impact on our team too but it would provide an opportunity for others to come to the side and step on the biggest stage now.
