Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu will be the first country in the country to begin to vaccinate children without the delay so the center gave its nod, Minister of Health MA Subramanian said in the city on Wednesday.
Responding to questions about vaccination for children, the minister said that the Expert Committee had given its nod but the official confirmation had not yet come from the center.

He appreciates the administration of Coimbatore Regency for toppings between districts in vaccinating the maximum number of populations that meet the requirements with the first and second doses.
So far, 93% of the qualified population over 18 years are covered with the first dose of Covid vaccine in this district.
This includes 6% vaccination in private facilities.
This is the highest in the state compared to other districts.

About 37% of the population is covered with the second dose in the district when the country’s average is only 24%.
