Prayagraj: The session court here on Tuesday gave a strict prison sentence (RI) to 41 accused involved in human trafficking and meat trade racquets broke out in Meergaj, Prasagraj in the main police operation carried out on Labor Day on May 1, 2016.
Additional sessions Judge (ASJ) Rachna Singh was awarded 14-year-old RI to all 15 accused of human trafficking while the remaining 26 was accused of meat trade given 10 years.
Previously, on January 18, 2022, the Additional Judge of the Judge had sentenced 41 people found involved in the trade in meat and human trafficking, which at one time occurred in Meeranj.
While passing the order of confidence, ASJ said that it would say punishment to the defendant on January 25.
ASJ has punished the defendant on the basis of the facts and evidence available to them.
After that, the sentence was awarded on Tuesday after hearing defense advice and advisory of the District Government (Criminal), Gulab Chandra Agrahri, who appeared on behalf of prosecution.
