Karwar: The middle observer team of three members visited the flood-hit areas in Uttara Kannada district on Monday to assess the damage claimed by the state government.
The team visited Yellapur and Ankola Taluk that bear the burden of the flood.
The team consists of Kailash Sankhla, an additional secretary of the Rural Development Department, SV Jayakumar, Chief Engineer Department of Highway and Shrinivas Reddy, the state government team.
Members visit Kagache and Gullapur villages in Yellapur Taluk and Shirur Village in Ankola Taluk.
Kakache still watched large-scale landslides.
A bridge in Gullapur has been washed away during the flood last month.
Shirur Village was damaged during the flood.
Team members talk to villagers and convince them that all images will be presented before the government.
