LONDON: Indian troops led by Kohli began preparing for the second test that will come against England here on the Land of God’s cricket on Tuesday.
The official BCCI Twitter handle recorded a photo of a stadium and imagined a post as: “Hello, sir, we are here.
#Teamindia.” The opening of Batsman Mayank Agarwal also returned to the net after missing the first test due to concussion.
The first test between India and England ended in a draw after the rain played Spoilsport on the last day of the test.
The visitors looked ready for victory, needed 157 to win on the last day, with nine Wickets in hand, but the gods of weather had something else in mind.
India Virat Kohli Skipper was disappointed with the first test when he was dismissed because of the golden duck by James Anderson in the first round.
The battle between Anderson and Kohli had for years managed to take the eyeball and it was one of the most interesting glasses in the longest format.
Former Indian Spinner Venkatapathy Raju said Ravichandran Ashwin was supposed to be the first spinner for India in the first exam against England, but he also said that he understood the reason to enter with Ravindra Jadeja.
Some eyebrows were raised when Ashwin was removed from the lineup for the opening test because of the LED side of the Virat Kohli entered with four sailors (Jasprit Bumrah, Mohamma Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Shardul Thakur) and one spinner (Ravindra Jadeja).
“Whoever follows the cricket, they all have their opinions correctly? If someone takes 400 goals and he doesn’t get a chance, there will be questions raised and it has started happening.
But then, the team’s management is better to assess, England enters without Spinners and Indian teams enter with four sailors and one spinner, “Raju Ani said.
