Kalaburagi: A 38-year-old man died in the Akkamahadevi colony near Kalaburagi High Court after he was hit by a large stone thrown by his neighbor, which was reportedly annoyed with the victim’s dog.
The victim, Gopalrao Gopalrao Kulkarni was found dead in the morning on Friday after he was reportedly struck on Thursday by his neighbor Pavan Jahagirdar.
Kulkarni’s family member said that Jahagirdar was often used to throwing stones at the former dog when barking.
Dog behavior often brings members of two neighboring families into conflict.
A few days ago, Kulkarni had submitted a complaint that accused Jahagirdar to break his legs in the fight.
A family member of Kulkarni accused that Pavan had not been arrested and fled.
On Thursday night, Jahagirdar, along with several friends arrived at Kulkarni’s house, and threw a large stone aimed at the last head and escaped from the scene.
Kulkarni’s family member was very angry with the police because their failure arrested Jahagirdar despite complaints submitted against him.
Meanwhile, Kalaburagi rural police have registered a new case and has spread their net to catch Jahagirdar.
