Prasagraj: A criminal based in 22-year-old Pratapgarh, who had shot himself in the lower abdomen on August 6 and then tried to involve three feet of his hand by accusing them to shoot him, arrested by the police on Saturday.
Criminal, Noor Mohammad aka Paglu, has carried out sensational booty in the Utrav region in the Trans-Ganga bag from the Prayavah District last month along with two other people who were accused of being wrong to shoot him.
He had planned to involve his partner in crime when they refused to share booty goods with him.
Noor Mohammad aka Paglu, a resident of Misircur musttaadad, shot himself near his village with the boundaries of the Mandhata police station from the Pratapgarh district on August 6.
He was detained by Pratapgarh police on Saturday after he underwent treatment at the hospital.
Police said that Noor Mohammad himself told the police about him being shot by a claim that two criminals borne by unknown bicycles had shot him and left him critically.
The police, who acted on complaints, submitted cases under Section 195 and 307 IPC with the Mandhata police station and began an investigation.
Senior police were stunned on Saturday when they learned that the criminal hatched the conspiracy just to involve his accomplice with whom he had done a booty in Prayagraj Regency.
Deputy SP (Raniganj) Atul Anjan Tripathi told Ti that Noor Mohammad had a dispute with his accomplice for sharing the number of boots and it was to involve them in a fake case, he had hatched all conspiracies and shot himself on August 6 outside his native Village Misircur MustaDahad.
He added that when the police connected the link regarding the incident during the investigation, the police found that criminals wanted to involve his gang’s hand and therefore shot himself with the help of illegal weapons.
Noor has about half a dozen criminal cases that are delayed against him at the ProAgraj station and Pratapgarh.
Police on Saturday also recovered a state-made gun 0.315 and one used cartridge he used to hurt himself.
