Haveri: India Post has planned to introduce a special cover on geographical indication products (GI) in Karnataka.
Initially, it would choose 10 products that have a GI tag, including Byadagi Chili.
In this case, the authorities have held meetings with the Authority of APMC Byadagi and others.
According to the department, the cover specifically has a value of Filarates.
Other products in the pipeline are Dharwad Pedha, Sirsi Supari, Huvinahadagali Jasmine, Kinaburagi Toys, Kalaburagi Skin, Navalagunda Dhurries, Sandur Lambuan Skulaman and others.
