Mumbai: At least 200 people can take part in ‘Shiv Jyoti’ Run and 500 people can attend the ceremony to mark ‘Shiv Jayanti’ – Warning Birth of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj – on February 19 in Maharashtra, the state government said on Monday.
According to the guidelines, the home department has asked people to oppose bicycle speeches or procession given the Covid-19 situation that applies and organizes a large-scale cultural program.
The Chairperson of the Minister of UDDHAV Thackeray approved the home department proposal in this matter, a official statement said.
Thackeray has urged people to celebrate the birthday of the birth of the 17th century King of soldiers who adhere to the norms related to public health.
State Minister Shambhuraj Desai has submitted a proposal to the main minister as a special case considering Shiv Jayanti, the statement said.
In the guideline issued later, the House Department has asked people by taking a bicycle speech or procession given by the Covid-19 situation that applies in the state.
Instead, programs such as statues / images of garlanding from the king of soldiers can be held by observing social blasphemy norms, the government said.
The department observed that the worshipers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj united at Shivneri Fort – where the king of the soldier was born – or another fortress at midnight February 18 to call her birth birthday.
But warnings must be celebrated without gathering in large quantities, the department said.
The government said the various events were arranged to mark birthdays of birth every year.
“But the cultural program should not be held on a large scale this year.
Settings must be made to broadcast these programs through the cable network or online media,” the department said.
Also asked people to organize health-related camps and spread awareness about overcoming Covid-19, malaria, dengue fever and other diseases that observed social blasphemy norms.
