Dhaka: Veteran Pakistan All-Rounder Shoaib Malik will miss the third and last T20i against Bangladesh on Monday because of his son’s disease, PCB has announced.
Malik is married to Indian Tennis Star Sania Mirza.
Two sports stars have a three-year-old son, Izhan.
“Shoaib Malik will miss the third and last T20i against Bangladesh at this time because of his child’s illness and will leave for Dubai before the match,” PCB said in a statement.
Pakistan, who reached the T20 World Cup semifinals who had just been concluded in the UAE, took three T20 Series 2-0 matches.
PCB also announced, the T20i National squad will depart Dhaka for Pakistan through Dubai on Tuesday.
Usman Qadir and Imad Wudiim will spend a few days in Dubai with their families.
The national test side will travel to Chittagong on Tuesday for the first of two tests.
Consultant Bowling Vernon Philander will leave the side on the first test settlement because it is only available for the T20IS and the first test.
Pakistan and Bangladesh will play two Championship Test World matches.
The Chittagong test will begin on Friday and the second test will be played in Dhaka from December 4-8.
