Dubai: The leader of Pacer New Zealand Trent Boult hopes to exploit India’s weakness against the Bowling Quickly left arm, taking from where Shaheen Shah Afridi left, in their 12 T20 Super World Cup match here on Sunday.
Afridi 21-year-old gave Pakistan dreams to start by ignoring Indian opening duo from Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul in consecutive overs, which paved the way for their stunning 10-goal victory in India last week.
After seeing the ORDER TOP India was destroyed against Pakistan’s left-arm Pacer, Boult had a plan to do encore when both parties collided in a virtual KO contest.
“How Shaheen Bowled another night.
From the left truination, watching I thought it was amazing.
Hopefully, from my point of view, it swings a little and I can reflect what Shaheen did that night,” Boult told reporters on their night’s match.
It was only during the 2019 World Cup semifinals that Bult could dismiss Skipper India Virat Kohli while fellow Pacer Matt Henry contributed Kl Rahul and Rohit Sharma to reduce India to 5/3 in the top four while defending 240 simple.
“Indian quality battery so getting the initial goal is clearly the focus for us as a bowling group,” said Boult.
Most games at the T20 World Cup which are being won by the team chase.
“India brings many challenges, quality batting ranks.
We only need to explain with our options on how to close these people and clearly give them a little pursuit as much as possible.” New Zealand has suffered losses in Pakistan in their second match and both teams will be interested in opening their account.
“Boys are quite optimistic and eager to take in India.
We did not enjoy a good start against Pakistan which clearly played some very good cricket today.” This will be a good challenge.
Our first game in Dubai looked pretty good there and yes, I really hoped to bring them the edge but the boent didn’t agree.
“I won’t say we have an extra advantage.
Both parties are stacked with quality players.
Some people here play the IPL and obviously have relationships and play many Indians.
So yes, he hopes we can be together tomorrow and get rolling balls -gulung.
“Further Boult said their star dough Martin Guptill was suitable for the match.” Guptill was pretty good, didn’t see too much trouble with him.
Very good, he is definitely a big part of the puzzle at the top of the innings.
From what I am know he’s good to get it.
