Vijayapura: Two men were killed in a fire accident occurred in a shop near Basavana Bagewadi Cross on the NH-50 in early Sunday.
The deceased is Ashok Bishnoi, 25, and Nimbaray Bishnoi, 35, native Rajasthan.
The fire broke in their store selling plastic equipment around 2am.
They died at the time of firefighting personnel and the police reached the place.
Nidagundi PSI Chandrashekhar Hermal said Prima Facie, short circuit was the reason for the tragedy.
“Because both sleep well, they can’t see fire,” he added.
