Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh reached a new milestone in the Covid battle on Monday because the number of vaccine doses given across the 15-crore sign in the state.
This figure is more than 33% more than the total number of doses managed in Maharashtra, the condition of the next competitor.
In terms of people, 10.62 individual crore were partly vaccinated in the state, while 4.37 Crore had taken the two doses.
Considering that the total number of people who qualify above is 15.04 crore, this means more than 29% of the population that is fully vaccinated and 71% only takes one dose of vaccine.
Praising achievements, senior health officials direct staff to maintain their steps until all people who meet the requirements are vaccinated and appeal to people to come and take vaccines that are due in their individual and social interests.
Meanwhile, 12 new Covid-19 cases were reported throughout the state in the past 24 hours, with a total of 17.10 lakh on Monday.
The case was reported from eight districts.
The official bulletin said eight people had recovered from Coronavirus infection taking total recovered to 16.87 lakh, translating to the recovery rate of more than 98%.
After recalculation by adjusting new cases and recovery, there are 104 active cases in 34 districts in the state.
Of the total, more than 55% concentrated only in three districts with Gautam, Budh Nagar contributed maximum, followed by Lucknow and Prayagraj.
The total number of lives lost due to fixed pandemics was 22,909 because there were no deaths reported.
Health officials urge people because of their second dose to get themselves vaccinated the earliest to build maximum defense against viral diseases.
