Prayagraj: Ghazipur District reached its target in adolescent vaccination in Uttar Pradesh with more than 103.13% from 2,61,865 adolescents (15-17 age group) which had taken the first covid vaccine dose.
The Ghazipur district was given a target to cover 2,53,910 teenagers (15-17 years) but crossed the target.
Ghazipur was followed by Philiphit (94.43%), Shraverti (93.34%), Muzaffarnagar (90.92%), Basti (88.61%) and Etawah (88.21%) even as a Coverage Coverage 49.24% .
The State Health Authority has set the Toadminister Covid-19 vaccine target with a total of 1,40,14,000 adolescents in the age group 15-17 and 64.93% of them (99,99,722) have taken the first dose until January 29.
Note Claiming Health Authority in Piliphit (1,42,447 Teen Population), Shraverti (78,367), Muzaffarnagar (194,639), Basti (172,848), and Etawah (110,942) has set separate vaccination targets at the age of 15-17.
Data, however, shows the Ghazipur district has given the first dose to 2,61,865 teenagers until January 29 while the first dose was also given to adolescents in Philibhit (1,34,512), Shraverti (1,76,969), Basti (1, 53,155) and Etawah ( 97,866) each.
Interestingly, the Prayagraj district has set the highest target (4,17,616 lakh) teenagers to manage Covid vaccines and only 49.24% of the target (2.05,640) given the first dose until January 29.

Teuth Lal told TII that “Sincereforts was being made to achieve the target, we have intensified vaccinations in schools in rural and urban areas.

Officials said, in Pratapgarh Regency, Atotal 2,25,076 adolescents were registered for vaccination and 74.48% of them (1,67,644) had taken Jab.
Similarly, as many as 92,383 adolescents from 1,12,189 (82.35%) teenagers also provide the first dose in the adjacent Kaushambi district.
The Infatehpur Regency, the health authority has set a target to vaccinate 1,84,649 per year and 1,27,583 of them (69.09%) given the first dose until January 29.
