Banorious Bandit Uday Bhan Yadav aka Gauri Yadav likes to show off the latest weapons and branded articles.
Gauri Yadav is the only bandit left in the area whose gang operates in a hilly field of Kitrakoot.
Armed with the AK-47 and other advanced rifles, Yadav, a resident of Bailauri Village under the Bahilpurwa Police Station, Chitrakoot Regency, desired in connection with more than two dozen criminal cases and brought RS 5.50 lakh cash prizes on his head.
These facts found mentioning in the fresh document of bandit gang prepared by police special tasks.
Vice SP (STF) Navendu Kumar told TII that the police had launched the operation against Yadav in Chitrakoot.
He added that the police had compiled all the processes of the gang.
Kumar said that the police had eliminated large bandit gangs, including Shiv Kumar alias Dadua (July 22, 2007), Ambika Patel aka Thocia (August 4, 2008), Sundar Lal alias Ramsiya Patel (December 24, 2011), Sudesh Patel aka Balkharia (15 July 2015) and Baluli Kol & Lovlesh Kol (September 15, 2019) in the Chitrakoot hilly area and along the up-MP border between 2007 and 2019.
Now, Gauri Yadav is the target.
After removal of Dadua’s large gangs, Thocia and Balkhariya, other small gangs including choliabolia, Chunnilald and Ramgopal alias GUPPPA cannot overcome the latest gadget modes and abundant wealth.
These bandits were killed at a meeting of police or arrested by police and parliamentarians.
The police, however, claimed that Gauri Yadav managed to get a sophisticated AK-47 rifle, and operate in Bahilpurwa, Patha, and a side by side.
Stf officials, meanwhile, said that after the removal of Lovesh Kol and Babuli Koc on the up-MP border in September 2019, Gauri Yadav and his gang had not yet carried out major crimes, and reportedly involved in extortion.
Gauri Yadav was also accused of killing a Delhi Police Inspector in the Patha area in 2016.
