PRAYAGRAJ: What originally appeared as a event of celebratory shooting, proven to be a murder, even once a jilted lover tried to kill the dress in a wedding Saraykher Kha village of Pratapgarh on Tuesday night.
His bullet missed the goal and struck at the cousin of the bride.
The cousin has been brought to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Pratapgarh authorities on Wednesday detained the accused recognized as Vivek Singh in relation to the killing of the bride’s uncle, Prem Singh (38).
Prem died of a gunshot wound in the marriage of his sister at Tuesday night.
Following the arrest, the accused Vivek confessed he had been in love with the bride, also fired a shot targeting the dress to be able to prevent the wedding.
But he also missed the goal and the bullet struck Prem, the bride’s cousin, killing him on the spot.
The incident happened at Saraykher Kha village beneath Raniganj police channel of Pratapgarh on Tuesday night.
Authorities are also searching for the accomplice of their prime accused that had been allegedly with him in the right time of this episode.
Deputy SP (Raniganj) Dr Atul Anjan Tripathi told TOI that the prime accused, Vivek Singh, a resident of Madartara village was detained in relation to the killing of Prem Singh (38)and also a resident of Saraykher Kha Lohartara village.
Authorities, meanwhile, stated that the union of a single Nigam Singh’s daughter turned out solemnised in Saraykher Kha Lohartara village at Tuesday night.
The groom’s party had come in Delhi.
After the welcome ceremony had been occurring along with also the cousin of the bride, Prem, was active in structures, the accused Vivek, that had been in love with the bride, who came at the place and also started fire targeting the dress.
The bullet, but struck Prem and left him seriously hurt.
The household took him to the district hospital where doctors declared him pulled.
Upon being alarmed, a group of Raniganj police hurried to the place and completed preliminary investigations.
The DSP said.
“Originally, the authorities supposed this to be an instance of celebratory shooting, but a thorough analysis stunned senior cops.
After Vivek Singh was detained in relation to the shooting incident, he also confessed his own aims.” After the investigations, an FIR under Section 302 of IPC was registered at Raniganj police station against two men –Vivek Singh along with his accomplice Firoz Alam.
Both are detained.
The DSP said that Vivek was threatening the woman and his family dire consequences when they dared to repair her union with somebody else.
The bride’s father told authorities that the accused had made futile efforts to avoid the mending of his son’s marriage many times.
