Prayagraj: Vedic paint will soon be produced in four places in Uttar Pradesh.
Commission Khadi & Village Industries (KVIC) Varanasi Director DS Bhati told PTI that the unit would be arranged in Barabanki, Varanasi, Ballia, and Meerut to produce paint.
He said the paint was different from the usual because it did not contain any chemicals, made of natural sources, and the same durable with other paint.
He also said the price was less than other paint available on the market.
He attended the ‘Magh Mela’, held here, to oversee the Varanasi exhibition.
He said at this time two types of paint “Veda” – White and Distemper – under manufacturing in Sangan Jaipur under the pilot project.
He said the Commission also tried to bring paint with other colors immediately and was conducting research on their design.
