Prayagraj: Increasing the impulses of immunization against Covid-19, district health department officials gave Jab to more than 55,000 recipients on Tuesday afternoon and claimed to have covers a third of the target recipients.
The recipient’s calculation that gives Jabs during a special vaccination drive is likely to cross 75,000 markings on Tuesday night.
So far, more than 13 doses of lakh have been given in the district.
The district health department official has set the target of providing Covid vaccines to around 39.87 people, including 27 Lakh recipients aged between 18 and 44 and 12.87 lakh over 45 years.
District Immunization Officers (DIO) and Chairman of the Additional Medical Officer Dr.
Therar Lal told TII, “We made a sincere effort to cover the maximum number of recipients in urban areas, semi-urban and rural areas.
We have taken 383 site vaccinations on Tuesday (August 3) itself to cover the maximum number of recipients.
“Dio added that more recipients of all age groups spend their doubts and reach the Covid vaccination center to be affixed.
