Abu Dhabi: Spinner Mystery Prone to injury, Varun Chakravarthy’s fitness problem was cut when he was ruled out from the Indian T20 World Cup match against Afghanistan on Wednesday.
“Varun Chakravarthy has a left calf problem.
He is not available for the selection for this game,” said the BCCI media statement.
Chakravarthy failed to get one goal in the two matches he played and injured was not cut, he was supposed to rise because Pakistan and New Zealand had no problems dealing with it.
Ravichandran Ashwin, the last played international game in June in the world test championship, finally got a game after almost four and a half months.
In fact, Ashwin played a white ball game after four years, after last wearing a blue jersey in West Indies in 2017.
