VHP blames PMC officials for the death of cattle in Kanha Gaushala

Written by news2in

Prasagraj: The day after “robbing” Gaushala in Shankargarh after allegedly found 12 dead cows, Vishwa Hindu volunteers Parishad (VHP) Gauraksha Wing has accused the authority of Prayagraj Municipal Corporation (PMC) to ignore Gaushalas in Sangam City.
The VHP leaders protested and claimed that more than 90 cows and calves had died in a week at Kanha Gaushala in Shankargarh in the Trans-Yamuna area.
VHP said it also wrote a letter to the chairman of the Yogi Aditityath Minister looking for strict action against the wrong PMC and other officials.
The Regional Secretary of VHP Lal Mani Tiwari told Tii, “Despite spending Crores Rupee, the condition of Gaushala-based Shankargarh is in Shambles and more than 90 cows and calves have died in a week in Gaushala”.
He further alleged that many cows and calves were dying because of starvation because they were not offered for animal feed and water because of the protected authority approach.
Three days ago, when VHP conducted a surprise inspection, as many as 12 dead cows found thrown into a hole filled with water.
Tiwari further added that PMC officials at least bothered to take care of cattle and calves stored in Gaushala and demanded the head of the minister to take the crackdown against PMC officials.
“It was sad that the postmortem of cattle and calf died.
It was never done and their carcass was discarded,” said Tiwari.
“PMC officials prepared fake post mortem reports with claims that cattle and calf have died of Polythene consumption,” he accused.
He also claimed that the majority of Gaushalas carried out by gram Sabhas was also a mess.
Tiwari, meanwhile, PMC authorities always advance with false and fake documents every time a cow dies in premature death and that every time the problem is raised, they blame the cows that have consumed polythene bags.
