Abu Dhabi: Former Afghan captain, Afghar Afghar on Sunday received the honorary guard from Namibia during the ongoing match at the T20 World Cup.
Astghar Afghan played his last match for his country because he had announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Saturday.
Afghanistan locked the horn with Namibia at the T20 World Cup on Sunday and this would be Afghan Afghan’s last match for his team.
Asghar came to the stick when the beat of Mohammad Shahzad entertained 45 ended at the end of 13.
When Asghar came to the bat, the Namibian team gave a former Afghan captain to be a guardian of honor during the match.
Afghan ASGHAR has played six tests, 114 ODIS and 75 T20IS for Afghanistan.
The right hand dough made his debut against Scotland in 2009.
Asghar Afghan played his first match in the longest format when Afghanistan locked horns with India in June 2018.
