HubbalLi: Former MLC Nagaraj Congress Chebbi has clarified that he would never join BJP and remain at Congress forever.
Responding to the Toi report published on January 17, he said he had never met the Industrial Minister Murugesh Nirani personally.
“I might just wish him on several functions or at the airport.
But he never discussed politics with him” he added.
He added that the younger brother of Murugesh Sangamesh Nirani was close friends since 1991 and used to discuss business problems with him.
“However, I have never talked to the minister of any reason in my life,” he said.
He said the Congress was in his blood and the party had given him a good status since his NSUI day.
“I am the youngest president for the District Congress unit.
I even sacrificed my candidacy in the 2008 election for the benefit of the Congress.
I was approached by the BJP High Command in 2013 itself for the contest in the assembly selection.
If I was hungry for strength, I could join BJP a decade Then.
However, I denied it politely.
Seeing my dedication to the party, no BJP leader approached me after 2013 and I also had never tried to meet them for this reason “he added.
He said some people created fake news about his future.
“If someone proves that I have approached a BJP leader, I will retire from the politics itself,” he said.
