Nagpur: Association of Cricket Vidarbha (VCA) prepares to Raiser Curtain Domestic Season – Trophy Syed Mushtaq Ali T20.
Posing a severe drunk last season, VCA did not leave the stone missed in approaching this event with better preparation.
After conducting a camp outside the season for several months, VCA now plans to hold a Guzder League meeting from next week.
“We plan to start the temporary league between August 17 and 19,” said a VCA official.
The tournament will begin after the under-19 and under-16 trial matches that are ongoing.
VCA has even decided to only allow a vaccinated referee to lead in the match.
Players have not received similar instructions.
Last year, after the team lost all of his group stage matches, Pritam Gandhe was appointed as coach just a few days before the league.
There are many newcomers in the squad.
Faiz fazal experienced campaigners did not play because of Niggle.
His absence was felt when Batting Vidarbha was found to want.
Gandhe has spent several months with boys and hires a new approach.
Players have played matching regular intervals in the off season, Gandhe courtesy.
There is a difference in approach because Gandhe replaces Trevor Gonsalves.
Former Skipper Vidarbha has regularly placed the players both through a match simulation or made him play practicing the match at Kalamna Ground.
“The coach’s goal is to ensure that players can play more matches before the national T20 tournament begins.
In a format like T20, the experience of playing more T20S makes a big difference,” the source added.
VCA has planned T20 Guzder last month but the weather played Spoilsport from the beginning of the tournament.
This time, all stakeholders hope the league is not hit by rain.
Sixty Under-16 Selected Players: After the marathon process from the 90 selection of players from Vidarbha, Junior’s voter has returned to form four teams consisting of 15 players each.
The team played against each other and after the last match on Saturday, a list of 25-30 is likely to be resolved.
